En el episodio 611 de Hak5, Rob Fuller (alias Mubix) de room362.com nos muestra los pasos basicos para comenzar a bailar con Metasploit y adicionalmente nos enseña el poder de los modulos auxiliares. Necesitaran Bajarse el metasploit de metasploit o la maquina virtual de Backtrack.

Aprenderan a obtener acceso a una maquina usando solamente los hash de las contraseñas almacenadas en el sistema sin ni siquera saber la verdadera contraseña... ¡very cool!. Tambien podran intentar añadir un usuario a una maquina remota (quiza un controlador de dominio) usando esta vez solo los tokens almacenados de un pobre administrador del dominio logueado en una maquina con todos los privilegios... ¡very creepy!

La función de esta noche: una guía para entender el AES (con palitos y bolitas)

Sabemos que los temas de seguridad informática, análisis forenses, CSI, hackers, crackers, etc. son bastante interesantes, pero a la hora de analizar los algoritmos que hacen posible el cifrado de datos y toda esa maravilla de comunicarse en privado a traves de las redes públicas, nos damos en la cabeza tratando de entender las complejidades matemáticas inherentes en un algoritmo como por ejemplo el AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).

Jeff Moser de Moserware.com se dió a la tarea de escribir (y de ilustrar) un libreto (o debería mejor llamarlo un guión) en el cual el personaje principal es AES.

Pues bien, por cortesía de Jeff Moser les dejo con esta obra en cuatro actos que nos enseña de la manera mas didactica posible, la historia de AES, algunos fundamentos de criptografía, los detalles del algoritmo y las matemáticas sobre las cuales se basa el mismo.
